Due to some incredibly unfortunate circumstances (what more would you expect, right?!), I have not turned my attention to this blog or our YouCaring page in a while.
My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. We were mostly shocked by this diagnosis as it seemed to happen so quickly. Thank you to everyone who has been sending messages of support- it's truly appreciated.
My time has consisted of working, babies, and hospitals these last few weeks. I'm also mourning the soon-to-be loss of a tooth that has fractured itself and is requiring a ridiculously expensive implant after a 6 month holey-smile waiting period.
In other news, Lili turns 3 on Wednesday, has a party on Saturday, and we move on Sunday (another rental back in the old 'hood for now). So, we're not busy at all.
I hereby promise that the month of May will include a giant update, pictures, videos and all. Our goal is still HUGE, but it's still there! We'll see if we can take it any further before it expires in August. I'm actually looking forward to planning how we'll pay it forward the following year :)
